Project title: Developing a decision aid for assessing clinical homogeneity of rehabilitation intervention studies considered for meta-analyses
Project background: Systematic reviews with meta-analysis are widely regarded as the gold standard for informing healthcare management and policy decisions. However, assessing clinical homogeneity remains a significant challenge and is often non-standardized in meta-analyses. A standardized methodology that offers step-by-step practical guidance on assessing clinical homogeneity in studies considered for meta-analysis is urgently needed.
Project objectives: To develop a decision aid to assist authors of systematic reviews to assess clinical homogeneity when designing and conducting meta-analyses in rehabilitation.
