Dr. J. Kim Ross received his Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the University of Waterloo in 2003. His thesis and post-thesis work has focused on the biomechanics of spinal manipulation. Dr. Ross graduated from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (C.M.C.C.) in 1987. He received his M.Sc. and B.Sc. from the University of Toronto in 1984 and 1980 respectively. Since 1988, he has been teaching at C.M.C.C. (biomechanics, biochemistry, Evidence Based Practice) and currently holds the title of Dean of Research and Assessment. In 2003, he received the Professional Service Award for Research by the Ontario Chiropractic Association. He has been lecturing on gait biomechanics, orthotic therapy and the biomechanics of manipulation to field practitioners worldwide since 1995.
