Stefano Negrini, MD PhD, is a Full Professor in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) at the University “La Statale” of Milan (Italy), an Honorary Professor at the University of Jordan of Amman (Jordan) and an Associate Graduate Faculty at Ontario Tech University, Ottawa (Canada). He founded and is the current Director of Cochrane Rehabilitation, the Director of the Evidence-Based Rehabilitation Laboratory at the Research Hospital Galeazzi Sant’Ambrogio, Milan, and the Scientific Director of ISICO (Italian Scientific Spine Institute). He is a member of the European Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine, an Italian delegate of the European Union Medical Specialists-PRM Section and a member of the Advisory Board of the International Society On Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT).
He was Chief-Editor of the “European Journal of PRM” from 2004 to 2020. He was a founder and President of SOSORT and has been active in multiple positions within the International and European Societiesof PRM (ISPRM and ESPRM). He presided over multiple National and International Meetings and Master courses. He won 21 Awards, including the ISPRM Distinguished Researcher Senior in 2023, the Association of Academic Physiatrists (APP) Joel DeLisa Lecture in 2018 and the Jon H Moe Award of the
